AI Literacy App
A classroom-ready web app that helps middle and high school students build confident, critical AI habits — hands-on exercises, teacher dashboards, and age-appropriate guidance that goes beyond 'don't cheat with ChatGPT.'
Get in touch →The challenge
Schools are scrambling to teach AI literacy, but most available resources are either scary think-pieces for adults or vendor-promotional material dressed up as curriculum. Teachers need classroom-ready exercises that are age-appropriate, standards-aligned, and give students real practice — not just warnings about cheating.
Our approach
We built a guided-practice platform organized around the skills students actually need: writing good prompts, spotting hallucinations, understanding bias in training data, and knowing when NOT to use AI. Every lesson pairs a short concept with a hands-on exercise the student completes in the browser. Teachers get a dashboard showing which concepts their class has mastered and where they're stuck.
What we built
- Skills-based lesson library (not chronological — teachers pick what fits)
- In-browser exercises where students practice with a sandboxed model
- Teacher dashboard with class-level mastery heatmap
- Printable and projectable exercise formats for low-tech classrooms
- Rostering via Clever and ClassLink (district-friendly SSO)
- No student data leaves the classroom — all PII stays local
